Seventy Sewn Stories Project
Thanks to funding from The Arts Council England, National Lottery Good Causes and our partnerships with the Lowewood Museum, through our Seventy Sewn Stories Project we were able to work with local Hoddesdon students to create a ‘Jubilee inspired’ exhibit.
Both school students and local families took part in the Seventy Sewn Stories Project, culminating in a Jubilee exhibit at the Lowewood Museum in Hoddesdon, celebrating 70 years of the local area through both film & textiles.

The Seventy Sewn Stories project enabled students to learn new skills and express their creativity through historical inspiration. Each student used their own initiative to create a piece of work that either represented the changes the area had gone through over the past 70 years or celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
