The Gifted Safeguarding Policy
1. Information provided to Beneficiaries
The Gifted Organisation Limited website includes the following literature.
The Gifted Organisation Limited believes that a child or young person should never experience abuse of any kind. All children and young people shall receive the protection and support they need if they are at risk of abuse. We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people and to keep them safe.
Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and protects them from harm.
Safeguarding means:
- protecting children from abuse and maltreatment
- preventing harm to children’s health or development
- ensuring children grow up with the provision of safe and effective care
- taking action to enable all children and young people to have the best outcomes.
We believe every child and young person, regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, has a right to equal protection from harm. We have put in place appropriate policies and procedures to monitor risk, work responsibly with statutory agencies and ensure everyone at The Gifted Organisation Limited is aware of their responsibilities and equipped to support our safeguarding practice.
The Gifted Organisation Limited involves children, young people and their families in developing and achieving our safeguarding and child protection standard.
