Slide #1

Butterflyette builds on the confidence and skills developed through the Butterfly Project.

If you’re a young person who has benefited from our six-session Butterfly Project through Butterflyette, you can train as a workshop leader and share your skills with other girls and young women.

By taking part in Butterflyette, you will learn skills such as arts, crafts, blogging or tech. You will have the opportunity to share your skills and talents with other girls through after-school clubs or community drop-ins, helping to build relationships between peers.

Our Impact

Since 2012, we have engaged with over 7000 beneficiaries. Our initiatives have included confidence-building courses, 1-2-1 mentoring, community drop-ins, media and creative projects, peer education, and family support.

After taking part in one of our projects, 95 of participants said they had learned a new skill and 90% said that they now believe they can achieve their goals.
