The repetitive nature of crocheting has been shown to relieve stress, anxiety and depression, and there’s nothing quite like the sense of achievement that you get when you see your project come together and can admire your new creation.

This is a great one to do with the kids or on your own and you can really put your painting skills to work – and chances are you already have everything you need to get started in the kitchen cupboards already. Here’s a recipe.

Yes, you read that right. We spotted this one on Facebook and we’d never seen anything like it! All you need is two packs of coat hangers an all the decorative items and lights that you would like to add… Here’s a video from Dunelm on how to make your own.

Another one inspired by our Clothmaker’s Wings project, you can say a lot in the way you dress, so why not take your creativity levels up and express yourself with your very own smock?
There are lots of different options as to what type you create, which can be very flattering and make you feel like the best you this festive season. There are a range of options here along with instructions on how to make your perfect smock, and you can create along with us in this video:
- Create your own baubles
Jingle all the bells together by tying them together with pipe cleaners! You can take this even further through placing all the baubles together to make a Christmas wreath.
